Why Choose Prestige K9 for Dog Boarding in Roseville
Not a chaotic pack-play environment
No dogs crammed in small kennels
Looking for dog boarding in Roseville or Placer County? Want your dog to enjoy real enrichment, controlled freedom of movement, and personalized attention—not chaotic pack play or hours in a confined kennel? Then welcome to Prestige K9 of Roseville — the boarding experience designed with dogs’ psychological and behavioral needs in mind.
Even though we are located right here in the city, our Prestige K9 facility sits on 3 spacious acres, giving dogs the rare opportunity to truly stretch out, enjoy open space, and run freely in large yards that most urban facilities simply can’t offer.
Here, your dog will never be stuck indoors waiting for scheduled let-out times. Our facility includes indoor/outdoor private runs, where each dog can freely move between climate-controlled indoor comfort and covered outdoor areas for fresh air and natural movement. Rain or shine, they have the freedom to choose where they want to be.
Inside their runs, each dog has their own chew-proof, elevated cot-style bed that provides comfort, proper joint support, and improved airflow underneath — helping dogs stay cool in warmer weather and relaxed during downtime.
We also provide large fenced yards for structured exercise and exploration. For even more personalized attention, owners can add trainer yard sessions, giving dogs one-on-one time for enrichment, confidence-building, and purposeful activity with a professional trainer.
Unlike typical boarding environments that throw unfamiliar dogs together in risky group-play situations, we do not run large open-play groups. Every dog has their own personal space, and all interaction is controlled, monitored, and behaviorally assessed by professionals.
Because we are a professional training facility — not just a boarding business — we are able to safely care for dogs that other places turn away, including dogs with:
-
reactivity
-
anxiety
-
selective tolerance of other dogs
-
behavioral concerns
-
strong working drives or protective personalities
-
handling sensitivities
Our trainers are skilled in canine body language, pressure management, and behavioral thresholds — ensuring every dog is safe, respected, and understood.
And for even greater peace of mind — our trainers live on-site, meaning dogs are never left alone or unattended overnight. This level of supervision is extremely rare in the boarding industry and gives owners confidence knowing their dog is looked after by qualified professionals 24/7.
Every element of Prestige K9 is built for calmness, safety, clarity, and wellbeing. With structured movement, professional oversight, and a peaceful environment — not chaos — your dog returns home more relaxed, centered, and balanced.
When your dog boards with us, you’re not choosing a kennel — you’re choosing a trainer-led, 3-acre, behavior-focused facility with on-site supervision and a team that truly understands dogs.
Dog Boarding Done Right
At Prestige K9, we’re committed to redefining what exceptional care looks like in the dog training and boarding industry. Our mission is not just to offer another dog facility—but to set the benchmark for safety, cleanliness, professionalism, and quality of care. We take pride in being the trusted and respected leader in the Roseville area continually elevating standards and providing an environment where dogs thrive and families feel confident placing their pets in our care.
Trainer-Led Enrichment & Personal Attention
Optional trainer yard sessions
Confidence-building activities
Behavior-minded boarding
Think of Prestige K9 as a real-world training and enrichment environment—not just a place for dogs to pass time. Under the direction of our founder, Spencer Bowman, an internationally recognized trainer and national champion, our team creates structured experiences that strengthen your dog’s mind, manners, and confidence. Instead of gimmicky activities, our focus is on purposeful exercises that help dogs become calm, responsive, and balanced companions.
Throughout the day, dogs engage in activities that build social skills, impulse control, recall, obedience application, and real-life confidence. They spend time learning proper dog-to-dog interaction with guided supervision, allowing them to benefit from healthy pack exposure without chaotic or overstimulating free-for-all play.
Our Canine Coaching approach is rooted in the same principles Spencer uses when training his personal competition and high-level working dogs—clarity, structure, and communication that dogs naturally understand. This style of supervised social engagement helps dogs become more confident around others, respond better to direction, and build resilience in new environments.
At Prestige K9, wellness means more than just exercise—it means meaningful movement. Because dogs have free access between our climate-controlled indoor training space and our covered outdoor yards, they get natural movement, fresh air, and sensory stimulation throughout the day. This balanced environment supports healthier joints, stronger muscles, and a more relaxed nervous system—something most dogs don’t experience at home.
Prestige K9 isn’t just a facility—it’s the product of Spencer Bowman’s lifelong passion and professional expertise. With over a decade of experience training companion, working, and protection dogs, Spencer set out to create the gold standard for dog care, behavior shaping, and real training-based enrichment in Roseville and beyond.
Private Indoor/Outdoor Runs for Natural Movement
Climate-controlled indoor space
Covered outdoor access — rain or shine
Chew-proof, raised, comfortable cot beds in every run
Located right here in Roseville, our Prestige K9 campus sits on a beautiful 3-acre property, offering more space, fresh air, and freedom of movement than you’ll find at typical city-based dog facilities. Even though we’re centrally located, the dogs feel like they’re somewhere peaceful and open — with room to run, explore, and decompress in large outdoor yards designed for natural movement.
Unlike traditional facilities that use one oversized room or cramped indoor-only kennels, Prestige K9 provides:
-
Indoor climate-controlled runs
-
Covered outdoor runs for all-weather comfort
-
Expansive fenced yards for movement and play
-
Freedom for dogs to move between indoor and outdoor spaces
-
Direct, constant trainer oversight—not just casual monitoring
Dogs aren’t confined for hours or dependent on scheduled “let out” breaks. They can choose where they want to be throughout the day, which supports calmer, healthier temperament and dramatically reduces stress, tension, and anxiety.
We are frequently complimented on how quiet, clean, and odor-free our facility is. Visitors often remark that they’ve never seen a dog space so peaceful and so meticulously maintained. This is the result of thoughtful facility design, rigorous hygiene practices, and a calm atmosphere created through structure—not chaos.
We offer flexible daycare options including full-day and half-day stays, as well as ongoing weekly or monthly plans for dogs who benefit from consistent exposure, learning structure, and positive social experiences.
For extended stays or overnight boarding, your dog will enjoy a balance of daytime engagement and nighttime rest. By evening, after a full day of movement and enrichment, most dogs naturally settle and relax, making their overnight stay calm and comfortable.
We also provide wellness services including bathing, nail care, coat maintenance, and hygiene treatments—all in a serene setting with low stress handling by experienced professionals.
At Prestige K9, safety and sanitation are top priorities. Our facility is maintained to a high standard with strict cleaning protocols and daily disinfecting routines to ensure a healthy, odor-free environment.
Prestige K9 is not a commercial franchise—it’s a facility developed by Spencer Bowman, a nationally recognized trainer and competitor, whose training principles guide every element of our environment and daily operations.
Free initial meet and greet
A Prestige K9 Meet & Greet is our opportunity to truly understand your dog and for you to experience how our facility operates. Unlike traditional daycares that rely on casual observation or chaotic group-play environments, our evaluation process is designed by professional trainers to ensure the highest level of safety, structure, and respect for each dog’s unique needs.
Our 20–30 minute assessment is conducted by experienced dog behavior specialists—not general attendants—which allows us to confidently accept dogs that many other facilities simply won’t take. Here’s what you can expect:
Health & Background Review
We’ll discuss your dog’s health history, personality, any behavioral challenges, and any known triggers so we can best support their needs.
Facility Walkthrough
You’ll get a complete tour of our 3-acre Roseville property, climate-controlled indoor spaces, covered outdoor runs, and large fenced yards designed for natural movement and low-stress living.
Behavior & Handling Evaluation
Our trainers will gently observe your dog’s responses to handling, environmental exposure, human interaction, and overall sensitivity.
Personal-Space-Based Social Assessment (No Group Play)
Prestige K9 does NOT place dogs into free-for-all dog playgroups. Instead, we respect every dog’s personal space. If appropriate, we may introduce visual or controlled proximity to other dogs in a smooth, structured, trainer-guided way—but never chaotic pack mixing.
This approach allows us to safely take dogs with:
-
reactivity
-
fear or anxiety
-
control-based behavior issues
-
selective dog tolerance
-
higher drive or working temperament
-
or simply dogs who prefer space over social closeness
Because we are a professional training facility, not an overrun dog park environment, your dog’s comfort and security are always prioritized.
Trainer-Enhanced Yard Time (Optional Add-On)
For owners who want even more engagement, dogs can receive extra yard time with our trainers, including:
-
confidence-building exercises
-
handler-focused engagement
-
calm structured movement
-
obedience reinforcement
-
scentwork or enrichment activities
At Prestige K9, safety is not optional—it is foundational.
Our team ensures every dog is supervised by professionals who understand canine communication, spacing, and stress indicators. This creates a calm, controlled environment that benefits both the dogs and their owners.
