I just wanted to give you a little update on Dirk. He is doing really well and is about 78 pounds now. He continually amazes all of us with how well he understands and also how fast he learns. He is graduating his intermediate obedience classes and 2 wks later starts advance classes. Cindy and I learned a valuable lesson a couple weeks ago. We decided to get Dirk's hair cut (with summer here and it being soooo hot). We took him to a groomer and I said I want to get his hair buzzed a little for the summer. I picked him up that afternoon and she REALLY did BUZZ his coat. She cut it really short, but it didn't look that bad just more like Dirk lost about 10 pounds LOL. So I learned never to use buzzed in a sentence with haircut LOL. Its grown out some now and looks really good and you can tell it is cooler on him. I hope all is going well with all of you. I have given several people your web address (we get a lot of compliments on our boy and refer them your way). I will sent some pics of him soon and keep you posted.

Chopper is doing great. He's full of energy and we're starting to work on tracking again. His breeding is impeccable. He has one of the most beautiful faces I've ever seen and the pictures you have of him don't nearly do his pigmentation justice. The amount of deep red in his face makes him just the most handsome dude in the house.

His drives are great and his temperament is unmatched. He has an on/off switch to kill for. Wherever we go his behavior, personality, and looks are the subject of conversation.

As far as personality goes... Big goofball doesn't do him justice. He howls back at me when I talk to him (not taught), he even walks around the house in my boots. He's such a good boy and he came from you with great manners, solid house training, great leash skills, and perfect weight.

What an awesome dog....

I wanted to take a minute to give you an update on our new bouncing baby boy Ruger.  He is going to be a wonderful addition to society. All of the preparing you did before shipping him paid off so well, I believe he is just about finished potty training. Your family has imprinted GREAT manners, and I am very happy with the way your kennel has raised this boy. We are starting drive training and he is doing beautifully, he LOVES to play, so I have no doubt he will do well. He is already a huge part of our family. He will ultimately become our family protection dog, and he will be titled when he is ready. We are in Sacramento, Ca. and we chose your facility because of the beautiful pedigree and "home" setting, you proved to be a confident breeder who loves her dogs like your children, and that was the breeder we were looking for. Thank you again for you kindness, willingness to help in any situation... And above all, your love and passion for making the breed better!
